The Problem
Ricoh's customers are less loyal to the brand. Companies easily switch between Ricoh and its competitors.
How can we strengthen the brand loyalty?

Design Goal
Achieve RICOH’s Stickiness in flexible work environments by creating Value, Trust and Commitment to workers (end-users).
Transforming the “ugly grey box in the corner of the office” into something more appealing!

The printer does not function anymore only as printer but in order to build loyalty an added value has been created. The printer will not be only a ugly object at the corner of the office, but it will actually become part of the office itself, as furniture. The idea of the 'corner' become central in the sense that the printer is a corner where people gather to exchange ideas, opinions and have brief meetings.

A storyboard has been created to promote the value of the new concept

During the Case Days we trained Ricoh's employees and taught them about Design Thinking. We facilitated a creative session where we went through the ideation and conceptualisation phase of the design process with them.
